Hyderabad: BRS party working president KTR on Tuesday said due to the struggle of many people, they were breathing free air in Telangana. He also said the people of Telangana would be above castes and religions. He asked CM Revanth Reddy to refrain from speaking as he liked. KTR unveiled the national flag at Telangana Bhavan on the occasion of National Integration Day being held by his party.

Speaking on the occasion, he said youth of the State were waiting for jobs. "When will two lakh jobs be created? When will the Rythu Bharosa benefit and pension be given? The girls are waiting for Rs2,500 to be given to them as monthly incentive,” he said. He criticised that the law and order situation in Hyderabad had been disrupted. "The newspapers are writing that there have been 30 murders in a month. The Home Minister should be appointed and law and order should be maintained,” KTR demanded.

He said although they if wanted to put up the statue of Telangana Talli in front of the State secretariat, the ruling party leaders had put up the statue of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's father and former PM Rajiv Gandhi there. "The statue of Rajiv Gandhi was put up for the appreciation of the Congress high command leaders of Delhi. In the past, the CM called Congress leader Sonia Gandhi as a ‘scapegoat' and Rahul Gandhi a 'stupid '. Now he has put up a statue of Rajiv Gandhi to cover his past mistakes. Revanth Reddy says the computer was invented by Rajiv Gandhi. Charles Babbage's soul, who invented the computer, was suffering due to the comments of the CM,” he mocked. He alleged that there was no rule of Law in the State.

Referring to the decision of the State government to call September 17 as People's Rule Day, he suggested that the focus should be on governance by the government. KTR made it clear that there was no question of leaving the State government till the 420 promises made were fulfilled. "After coming to power, we will send the statue of Rajiv Gandhi to Gandhi Bhavan with all courtesies.

Later, he performed milk abishekam to the statue of Telangana Talli. He paid floral tributes to the Telangana Thalli. Former ministers Srinivas Goud, Jagadish Reddy, Malla Reddy, Gangula Kamalakar, Leader of Opposition in legislative Council Madhusudhanachari, MLAs Kaleru Venkatesh, Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, former MP Kavitha and party leaders participated in the programme.
